Lioba Knepple and Anjali de Sa conducted an activity which included sponge painting with poster paints in a Christmas tree outline. The residents seemed to enjoy the experience of printing with sponges and paint. Some needed help in manipulating the sponge. Overall with some assistance, the sponge painting seemed to be a doable activity, suiting their abilities.
The residents were happy with their bright, colourful Christmas tree pictures.
The residents seem to be getting used to our group members coming to do activities, over these past months. Several of them readily sat at the tables waiting for the activity to start. Their hand movements and co-ordination and focus also seemed better this time.
