Session: On meditation breathing and exercises
I arrived a little before 9am and started walking along the corridors..greeting those who were up and about and looking for everyone to come to the hall, so i could start the meditation with as many as willing and interested..
We organised the chairs and benches and began with our session with 18 inmates present in the hall, including some on their wheelchairs…..
I was asked by some inmates to give show them exercises to help improve their sitting standing and walking ..as their knees were aching often…we communicated well with each other and i tried to reciprocate with any guidance through the breathing and exercises that will help them feel more active and happy to move around without any discomfort in the joints, as long as they do the exercises every morning, i showed them a few exercises that they could do lying in bed and once they sit up on their bed, …. cause they truly make an effort and it feels so much better when we converse over what we’re doing.
So all in all, a great session.
