Date: 1st September 2026
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Number of Participants: 20 Inmates/Residents

The programme began with an interaction centred on the Season of Creation, which is
observed from 1st September to 4th October.
Caring for Creation – Our Shared Responsibility – An impromptu and lively group discussion followed on the flora and fauna surrounding the Home. The residents enthusiastically shared their observations and ideas on how they could care for their garden and contribute to a healthier environment.

Celebrating Motherhood – Memories That Brought Smiles
To add a personal and joyful touch to the programme, four residents—two great-grandmothers and two grandmothers—were invited to share some of their most memorable and not-so-memorable experiences of motherhood and family life. Their spontaneous narrations brought out a wonderful mix of laughter, nostalgia and emotion. As they recalled special moments from their lives, the atmosphere became even more cheerful. Their stories not only evoked happy memories but also reminded everyone of the strength, sacrifices, joys and challenges that come with motherhood and family life.

Preparing for the Feast of the Nativity of Our Lady With the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary approaching on 8th September, the residents were given a creative activity of preparing garlands for Our Lady’s statue.
